2026 Fast2Feed | MAKING AN IMPACT. LEARNING EMPATHY.
Cost to Participate: $95 per student
Funds raised support Project 216 meal packing for families in Haiti/Africa and help cover Fast2Feed event costs.
Fast 2 Feed is a meaningful mission experience designed to help DS3 Middle School students grow spiritually while serving others. Through fundraising, students learn sacrifice, generosity, and responsibility as they ask people to pray for them and support them as they prepare for a guided 24-hour fast starting Thursday, March 12, through March 13 (6:00 PM - 6:00 PM). During the fast, students will engage in age-appropriate prayer, Scripture reflection, and teaching that emphasizes humility, empathy, and reliance on God.
The experience concludes on Friday, March 13, 2026, with a hands-on service project at Blackhawk Ministries in the Auxiliary Gym, where students and adults will work together to pack over 20,000 nutritious meals through Project 216 for Every Child. Every Day. These meals and supplies are distributed to families in need across 92 nations, including children and families affected by disasters and crises—such as refugees in Ukraine, Turkey, and Syria—providing critical relief in the wake of earthquakes, hurricanes, and other emergencies.
FAST2FEED provides a safe, intentional opportunity for students to learn compassion, deepen their faith, and see how God can use them to make a real difference in the world.

What Participation Includes
By participating & raising money with Fast2Feed, your student will:

Raise support through sponsors (family, coaches, teachers, etc..) to help provide nutritious meals through Project 216 for Every Child. Every Day. These meals and supplies are distributed to families in need across 92 nations, including children and families affected by disasters and crises—such as refugees in Ukraine, Turkey, and Syria—providing critical relief in the wake of earthquakes, hurricanes, and other emergencies.

Funds raised will support meal packing for families in need through Project 216.

Funds raised over the amount will help offset DS3 Fall Camp costs for families

Fast from solid food for 24 hours, missing two main meals (breakfast and lunch).

Drink only water and juice during the fast.

Raise a minimum of $95 to participate in the Fast2Feed experience and celebration.

Right after school, head to the Auxiliary Gym to serve at Project 216 on Friday, March 13, at Blackhawk Ministries, where we will be setting up and packing meals that will be sent to families experiencing hunger.

Attend the Fast2Feed Celebration, held immediately following the Project 216 service.

All students who participate in Fast2Feed are invited to this celebration event - if you raised $95 for Project 216 - CELEBRATION ADMISSION = FREE.

Turning this form in by March 5 guarantees your student a Fast2Feed t-shirt the night of the event!
Requirements
Prerequisites
- Planning Center Registration must be completed with all required questions answered
- The Fast2Feed paper permission slip is due by Wednesday, March 4 in order to get a FAST2FEED T-Shirt on the Celebration Event night.
Responsibilities
- Raise $95 for the Project 216 meals that each student will pack
- On Thursday, March 12 attend the Last Supper & Worship (if you can't make this let Mrs. Pulver know)
- Complete the 24-hour fast from Thursday, March 12 to Friday, March 13 after serving for Project 216 (6:00 pm - 6:00 pm)
- Attend and participate in Project 216 and all FAST2FEED activities on Friday, March 13 (after school till 9:00 pm)
- Parent pick-up on Friday, March 14 is at 9:00 pm at Georgetown Bowl (6770 E State Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815)

- Must have raised $95 to participate in the FAST2FEED Celebration Event
Preparation
- Begin to pray and think of family and friends that will help sponsor YOU for Project 216 as you serve and pack meals for starving families in Haiti/Africa. Donation packets will be given once permission slip is signed and turned in.
- Download the DS3 FAST2FEED permission slip. Fill it out and give it to Mrs. Pulver at DS3.
