I am not the same

I could talk about all the things that we did for Andria for the people over there in Kenya in the Mathare Valley, But what that missions trip did for me changed My whole perspective so much that God put a call on my heart to go back. I met some incredible people when I was there Peter our driver, Christina and Dorcas our house ladies, the teachers that were there and most especially Andria her work that she does with the people that she absolutely loves.
To be able to encourage fellow Africans believers in Christ, my most rewarding was Peter our bus driver.
We made a connection on our drives to and from our home to Mathare I can’t even begin to explain, it was a total God moment, to encourage Peter and his walk to have a good conversation about the Lord and his word was incredible, and it was life-changing for me.
Bringing VBS for the kids was a joy These kids are so loving on you and a joy to be with.
You just want to sit all day and hug and love on them, their smiles were infectious.
My favorite were the home visits in the Mathare Valley. Visiting with the moms and praying for their needs, which the number one need was for their children to get an education.
I pray for each, that God will continue to work in and through their lives.
There will always be a part of my heart there in Kenya with the people that I’ve met, I cannot wait to go back.
I am excited to see what God has done in their lives and what God has planned for this trip in 2020
