Gods Grace is Sufficient

Jesus has been my savior ever since I cried out to Him at 16 years of age. However, it was not until I was 46 that I was called to obedience and He became the Lord of my life. I now understand that He was always with me, protecting me and pursuing me, that He never left my side, despite my sin and shame. I am a sinner saved by His grace alone. Over the last 12 years He has brought me to know Him intimately and trust In Him with all my heart. He continues to lead me in the path of righteousness for my good and His Glory. He has placed His call to testify to the far ends of the earth on my heart. Over the past 3 years I have been given the opportunity to serve in Kenya twice, as well as encourage others to “Go” by serving on the Global Missions Team at Blackhawk. I have been blessed to witness His love and provision for His people everywhere. Four verses that He has buried deep in my heart that give me the boldness to step forward in faith and dependance are :

Acts 1:8 “ You will recieve power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Joshua 1:9 “ Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; Do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Matthew 9:37-38 “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

John 7: 37-38 “ If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.”

I ask you to please join us in prayer for the following:
1) Willingness and enabling of the church body to step out in sacrifical faith to fullfill this call, that He might fulfill his purpose in us and through us.
2) provision for the financial expenses of the team needed to meet this call to Go, and to provide for the ministry needs of those we go to serve.
3) For safety and Gods protection from spiritual warfare and the opposition of evil.
4) That many hear and accept Gods gift of grace through Christ and are saved.
