About Us
For nearly 50 years, Blackhawk Ministries has existed to be a light for Jesus in Fort Wayne and around the world. Our mission is to reach and equip all people for Jesus, one relationship at a time. Being intentional about making an impact both locally and globally is crucial to us. We believe that impact starts in our own local community where God has planted us for a purpose and branches out to our state, nation, and world. Our ONE FIVE Vision is an intentional effort to reach our city for Jesus, starting with our own zip code.
This vision has two foundational elements:
1. John 1:5 – “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
2. 46815 – Taking the Light to dark places in our city and around the world.
